First of all the cabin was beautiful and well equipped. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. Beautiful creek out back. We are not people that complain but what we dealt with was ridiculous. We came here for peace and solitude. The main reason we came here was for seclusion. Friday morning we woke up too heavy equipment back up alarms and construction. Then to top it all off there we had to listen to very loud music and people partying 2 nights in a row due to a wedding. Again it was beyond ridiculous. Bear Creek Hideaway was the cutest cabin and a perfect getaway for our family! The cabin was very CLEAN and well decorated. The creek behind the cabin was a lot of fun. There are a LOT of winding roads you have to travel to get to the cabin (it took us about 20 minutes both ways to go into town) but we enjoyed the seclusion and surrounding nature! My husband and I absolutely loved this cabin. It was very remote and in front of a beautiful stream with a fire pit, hammock, horseshoes, and grill wtih picnic table. The front porches on each level were so nice and peaceful. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice and updated the inside was with a perfectly sized kitchen and huge bathtub. We have been to Blue Ridge many times. Mountain Top is the best company to rent from, in my opinion. The cabins are exactly as described and the people in the office are helpful and friendly.
