We had stayed at Roaring Water Lodge in December 2021, and it was a very nice stay. Two things to keep in mind:
1. There are approximately 60 steps to reach the bottom outdoor firepit and river.
2. There was no super easy access to the river, too many slippery large rocks to climb on in order to get into river for us.
We loved the wrap around porch. Great place to star gaze from! The hot tub next to the T.V. and fireplace was excellent. Cabin was clean and nice size for a family of eight.
