This cabin is amazing. My family and I stayed in here 8 days and we had an amazing time. The views are incredible! I really enjoyed watching from the balconies the boats and jetski passing by in the Blue Ridge Lake. We were able to see white-tailed deer everyday! On the other hand, the cabin should be checked by a pest control technician. During our stay we found 6 (total) bark stripped scorpions not the same day. Two were spotted in the 1st floor (in the bathroom). The walls and the ceiling (in the 1st floor bathroom & bedroom) have a lot of holes where I believe the scorpions hide. The other four were found in the main floor. Be careful when you walk on barefoot. Also, if your vehicle is not high enough, you will end up scratching its bottom when driving up the steep driveway. I have a Chevy Trail Boss truck (lifted) and when turning right leaving the driveway (the bottom of my truck was 3" away from the pavement). Visible marks from vehicle scratching their lowest point. We did not have any problems at all! We will definitely be back! We have been using Mountain Top Cabin Rentals during the last 3 years and we love it!
