My friends and I stayed at Legendary View Lodge and the cabin was just fantastic. Since there are a lot of weekend events in Blue Ridge, at first we weren’t sure about our decision to reserve the cabin Monday through Friday. However, as it turned out, very few of the neighboring cabins were occupied during the week, so it seemed as if we had the entire mountain top to ourselves. We really enjoyed the privacy. The name of this cabin doesn’t do the view justice. The view is stunning, especially with all the leaves just starting to change color. We did a lot of hiking and then soaked in the hot tub. We spent most of our evenings out on the screened porch in front of the fireplace, usually with a couple of bottles of wine and a guitar. The cabin is well decorated and everything was really clean, including the linens. We are definitely coming back this winter and hope to see the mountains with a little snow. We had a blast and can’t wait to stay here again!
