Friday, Nov 25th – Blue Friday in Blue Ridge

Downtown Blue Ridge

Spend time shopping in beautiful Downtown Blue Ridge and then take a break in one of our many one of a kind restaurants and coffee shops. Restaurants and shops open early and close late. Holiday shopping with various performances happening throughout downtown. Christmas Carols throughout the day. Special Blue Friday sales and discounts. There will be the Gingerbread Village at Hampton Square, and don’t let the kids miss Elves and Christmas characters wandering through the downtown. Horse and Carriage Rides will also be available, and there will be children’s activities in the park.

Saturday, Nov 26th – Light Up Blue Ridge

The GREAT TREE is back! It is a 27-foot-tall, a sight that will WOW children and adults alike. Friday is BLUE Friday, when all merchants will be offering discounts and the downtown area will be filled with live entertainment throughout the day. A full day of fun begins on Saturday when Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive at approximately 9:30 a.m. Santa and Mrs. Claus will then be in the holiday parade immediately following their arrival. After the parade stop by the park and have your picture taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Mr. & Mrs. Clause will be in the gazebo and looking forward to talking to all the children. Food vendors will surround the park, Gingerbread House Contest, Window Decorating Contest, and Lighting of the “Great Tree” takes place at 7:00 p.m. 2016 headliner will be performing artist Jamie O’Neal!

Parade – 10 AM

Saturday, Nov 26th Christmas at The Art Center

Blue Ridge Mountains Art Association
