After being diagnosed with celiac disease in 2013, Chef Vedam took the lemons life threw at him and made them into lemonade. (Or, in this case, a gluten free roasted buttermilk chicken with fresh herbs and lemon). While it was initially a tough pill to swallow, his celiac disease diagnosis turned out to be the catalyst he needed to change his life and launch the career he had always dreamt of.
What started as sharing gluten free recipes online quickly led to a career as a personal chef, a cookbook, Vedam’s Gluten Free & Fabulous – Recipes From A Southern Gay Househusband, and the inception of Vee Culinary.
Today, Chef Vedam and the Vee Culinary team service North Georgia, Asheville, NC, Chattanooga, TN, and metro Atlanta, providing food that not only nourishes the body but nourishes the soul as well.
