The driveway is very steep! Even though we did drive a truck, our running steps did touch the driveway so make sure you do have a higher vehicle. If we didn't have the running boards it would have been ok. Overall we did have a wonderful stay and loved the cabin! (View Details)

This cabin is a 5-star cabin, but I'm giving it 3 stars overall. The Good: The cabin is newer and very well decorated and maintained.The lot is nice as well, with a great view of the creek and a wonderful fire pit area. The upstairs area is a little silly, because it was kind of thrown together. The bed was very comfy, the bathroom was really nice, and the living room was cozy. The kitchen was over the top for a cabin. The Bad: The driveway is barely mentioned in the ad. The driveway is dangerous and not adequate for the terrain. I drive a full-size SUV with 4WD and we almost got stuck in the driveway the first night there. It has a ridiculously sharp, steep grade directly off of a really narrow access road. We ended up parking in the road for the two days we were there, praying that the cabin below us would stay empty. The road to this cabin is ok for the most part. There are many permanent residents in this area that are impatient with us who aren't familiar with the road. Not a big deal, but more of a heads-up. This cabin is NOT secluded. There is a big 4 br cabin across the road, and a private cabin just next door. There's another cabin on the other side--just too many people in that one area. If you don't care about other people being around, and dogs barking--then this is not a deal breaker. (View Details)

We have stayed here twice and loved it. We have a 2 wheel drive 4 four runner and had no issues. The driveway is steep as stated in the listing so we knew what to expect. The way the cabin is situated that looks to be the only way to have a shot at decent parking. My husband is in home construction in Tennessee and so maybe we just have more sense than other people or are more reasonable about the roads in the mountains. Other cabins nearby didnt bother us, never saw a soul. Usually water front properties have neighbors just like they do at the beach. We have also stayed at private cabins with Mountain Tops so if thats what you want just ask them. You can also ask for a flat driveway if you are afraid of hills. We never heard dogs barking the two times we've stayed. We love this place and will return. (View Details)
