We picked the perfect time to se the leaves change. Wow what a beautiful cabin! The ride to the top was a trip! Going down was amazing too.We grilled out by the fire place the first night. We hiked to Amicalola Falls it was beautiful.I love too cook and the kitchen was perfect. We really love this cabin and have stayed here twice. It has gorgeous views and a separate room with a king bed for the parents *and* for each of our two daughters. They both loved having their "own" floor. Very relaxing, felt secluded, though it's very close to town as well. The one problem we had was I (the wife) have balance issues (neurological injury) and ended up falling down the stairs the last time we stayed. But, hey, I didn't get another concussion! Since I fell because I can't use both arms for balance like I need to, we decided it was best if next time we either stay on the ground floor or stay in a cabin with a stair rail on both sides. And, well, I really like having a private porch for the room I'm staying in and my husband is willing to spoil me, so...
Honestly, though, before my fall, we were calling this cabin our "vacation home" and had plans to come back every year. That how much we love it. It really is an awesome place to stay! (View Details)

Not sure Where to begin..for this cabin has it all. The view, the coziness comfort of the cabin, with the unforeseen little additives of cabin accents, that normally go unnoticed.
On one of our typical hour or so BR trips from East Marietta, where we've experienced a multitude of cabin views, and the small things expected to be offered. But this one had a unique feel; whereas the finer touches exceeded the expectations. Big ups to the owners, and to the Mountain Top management crew. Awesome customer service, cleanness of cabin, access, and communications prior to the visit. Ultimately, the owner's visual tree maintenance, was very much appreciated!

The most peaceful place we’ve ever been! The cabin was perfect, and the views were amazing! This cabin was perfectly situated away from it all, but still just a short drive to Blue Ridge. I can say, without a doubt, this was the best vacation our family has ever had. The Mountain View Lodge was the definition of perfection! No detail was spared in this cabin, and there were ample dishes, towels, and every amenity you could want. We spent 6 nights enjoying the hot tub, pool table, amazing view, and with just a quick drive into the Town of Blue Ridge, we had every aspect of a relaxing, quaint family vacation we could have dreamed of. This cabin was clean, beautiful, and allowed us to enjoy a weekend away from home. The amenities are great - all of the kitchen appliances are new, the fireplaces and grills were wonderful, and the pool table and hot tube were both well kept. All of the bedrooms and bathrooms are on separate floors, so it would be a great cabin to have three couples stay in because it would still be very private. I would definitely recommend this cabin to a person interested in staying in Blue Ridge.
