Looking for a luxurious cabin with every comfort imagined? Look no further than "Southern Komfort!" This beautiful, 4 bedroom room cabin is simply breathtaking... You'll feel like you are sitting on top of the world looking out at the mountains, but you're less than 12 minutes from Downtown Blue Ridge!
Once you enter the spacious cabin (Over 3400 square foot interior and approximately 2000 square foot deck space) and look toward the great room you’ll see a wall of windows facing the multi-layered mountain views! The main level has a large great room with a upgraded kitchen featuring granite counter tops, stainless appliances, wine cooler and a high bar with stools. The dining area has a large custom made Cherry wood table with seating for 8 guests.
The main level great room has soft leather furniture positioned around a massive gas log stone fireplace with a 60 inch TV with satellite and BluRay DVD player. The master bedroom is on the main level in this cabin with a rustic walnut king size bed, TV with satellite and double doors leading to the main level open deck with hot tub. The master bath has over-sized tile shower and a large jetted garden tub.
The main level also offers a beautiful Outdoor Living Space adjacent to the large partial covered wrap around porch.The Outdoor Living Space has a gorgeous stone wood burning fireplace with a dining area (perfect for enjoying your meals with a mountain view!), two cozy couches and a 48 inch flat screen TV. This is the perfect place to enjoy the pristine mountain views in a luxurious setting. The partially covered deck has Amish crafted double glider and rockers, a large hot tub, a gas grill perfect for assisting you with evening meals. Soak in the hot tub as you take in the gorgeous vista until the sun sets, then count the stars until the sun rises over the mountains!
The upper level has two bedrooms with king beds in each room and standard shower bathroom with granite countertops in between. Each bedroom will have a 40-50 inch tv with satellite. Ready for a game of pool? The loft on this upper level has a great space to hang out, offering a pool table and pub table positioned perfectly by the large windows for the guests not playing pool to relax and take in the endless rolling mountains.
The lower third level has a large family/game room with wet bar & bar stools, leather sectional couch, and a rocked gas log fireplace with a 65 inch TV. Here you will also find an arcade game with 48 games! The bedroom on this level also has a King bed, 50 inch flat screen and a full standard bath. Just outside this level is the access to the fire pit and rocking chairs.
You will not want to leave Southern Komfort! Outside you can enjoy the fire pit or basketball goal. This cabin is truly a destination in itself! You will have so much to enjoy at the cabin you won't have to leave….but if you do, remember how close you are to all the area activities in Blue Ridge. You’ll never want to stay anywhere else once you get comfortable…Make that “Komfortable” at SOUTHERN KOMFORT.
Please note: Fireplaces are available for use from October 1st to April 30th. Outdoor WOOD BURNING fireplaces may be used year round, however MTCR does not provide firewood.
Firepits are also available year round. Outdoor gas log fireplaces may not be used out of season.

This has been our 3rd year doing a couples trip in Blue Ridge. Southern Komfort is by far the best cabin rental we have experienced thus far. The view is stunning, the space and decor are exceptional. The beds were the most comfortable out of any vacation we have taken in the mountains. When you are on vacation comfort is a must and the owners definitely delivered that and more. We will definitely book this cabin again!!!
